The purpose of AURI Connects branded events is to actively engage the value chain on topics related to value-added agricultural opportunities and challenges. The vision of the program is to improve the competitiveness of agricultural producers, businesses and entrepreneurs through the ongoing, purposeful connection of resources and partners along the value chain and increased knowledge of opportunities, technologies and trends.
AURI Connects offers multiple options for engagement. Key AURI Connects activities include:
- Industry Thought Leaders – A source of regular input and direction from industry leaders
- Forums – To provide technical information to business and industry
- Networks – To provide an ongoing, topical platform for participants to grow their business and maintain competitiveness through networking and knowledge sharing
Webinar Wednesday
A monthly webinar series exploring different aspects of the food and agriculture sectors in Minnesota— from resources for food entrepreneurs to innovations in coproducts and biobased energy.
Webinars occur the second Wednesday of the month from 12 pm – 1 pm. Registration is free and open to the public.
Fields of Innovation
A platform focused on convening Minnesota’s regional ag and food value chains to build capacity and successfully accelerate the commercialization of new crop and livestock opportunities, including new traits for existing crops. With its focus on connecting innovation and market development with value chain partners, Fields of Innovation aims to build a strong ecosystem in Minnesota and border states that will provide ag producers and value chain partners with new market opportunities.
