AURI Connects: Fields of Innovation explores how different agricultural education programs help develop the next generation of agriculture, food, and natural resources innovators.
Agricultural education is thriving in Minnesota with over 200 ag education programs and 300 ag educators serving 21,500 students in both rural and urban communities. As another academic year ends, students throughout the state are preparing for their next steps into careers focused on food innovation, crop and livestock production, renewable energy, coproduct and biobased product development, and more.
For the April 2021 webinar, AURI Connects: Fields of Innovation welcomed ag educators and students to share their insights into why young people in Minnesota pursue careers in agriculture, the opportunities available to them, and how ag education programs help prepare Minnesota’s students to succeed in this diverse and rapidly evolving industry.
