Short Hydraulic Residence Times with Corn Cob-Woodchip Flow Columns Using Labile Carbon Addition

The United States Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) and the University of Minnesota (UMN) conducted a research project to test whether carbon (C) additions to a combination of woodchips and corn cobs could increase the rate of nitrate-N removal in  vertically oriented laboratory columns.
