Jennifer Voegele

Jennifer Voegele is AURI’s Director of Marketing Communications where she develops and implements strategic marketing initiatives to promote AURI’s mission, programs, services, outcomes and impacts. In this position Jennifer works with external partners, and collaborates with internal teams to create compelling marketing campaigns, engage key stakeholders, and raise awareness of AURI’s impacts.

Jennifer has extensive experience in leading marketing communications in corporate and non-profits. She is a collaborative, inspiring, and diverse storyteller along with being well-accomplished in delivering communications and marketing campaigns across all forms of media that generate engagement. Her experience centers on building brand awareness, community connections and building a trusted public profile.

Prior to working at AURI, Jennifer worked at a national public relation firm guiding clients on all aspects of publicity, sales and event strategies, including securing national media coverage such as Today, Good Morning America, PBS-TV, NPR, CNBC-TV, CNN-TV, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Channel, Bloomberg TV, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Esquire, Vanity Fair, Parade and trade and business media (Fast Company, Fortune, Forbes). Additionally, she worked for Midwest Dairy in harnessing the diverse aspects of this organization into a unified brand and messaging around trust in the dairy industry. In her role she positioned Dairy as an agricultural thought leader and lifted up dairy farmers as reputable sustainability partners. Creating simplified messages around diverse, competing, and complex priorities is her specialty. Her work experiences have culminated in being adept at quickly mastering varied subject areas, developing key messages and finding creative media opportunities and channels to reach target audiences.

Jennifer’s passion is working for mission-driven organizations and championing their work. A city girl who married a country boy, she’s come to value farmers as the original environmentalists who embrace new technologies and sustainable practices, while protecting land and biodiversity for future generations. She’s excited to promote new product channels that specifically benefit Minnesota farmers and our local economy.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in English and International Relations from Wellesley College, MA and a digital marketing certificate from the American Marketing Association. She lives in Mahtomedi, Minnesota with her husband and two sons.
