Entrepreneurs and innovative businesses in Northwestern Minnesota are encouraged to enter their innovative businesses or products in the 2011 IDEA competition.
Now entering its fourth year, the IDEA Competition was designed for to grow the economy of Northwest Minnesota by helping innovators find success in the global marketplace.
IDEA is a competition that selects entrepreneurs with the most promising breakthrough ideas and assists them in reaching product commercialization. Winners not only earn a cash award to help them fund their business effort, they also receive services and direction from some of the best business resources Northwest Minnesota has to offer.
The competition seeks out concepts and ideas that span a wide variety of industries, product and service types, or even new business models. Some entries will be for entirely new products, services or business processes, while others may be for dramatic improvements to things that already exist but have yet to reach their potential.
Deadline for submission to the competition is November 15. More information can be found at www.ideacompetition.org.
