Startups compete in one of the following divisions:
- Energy/ Clean Tech/ Water
- Food/ Ag/ Beverage
- General
- High Tech
- Life Science/ Health IT
- Social Entrepreneurship
- Student (undergrad and graduate students)
- Youth (18 and younger)
