AURI’s Virtual Assistant is a USDA-funded, custom-built, artificial intelligence-powered natural language Q&A system that provides agricultural producers and entrepreneurs 24/7 access to food scientist, engineer, and industry expert-curated content for startup or ongoing food ventures. Similar to other digital assistants, this tool allows the user to ask questions in common language via a test-based user interface, and the system will return vetted answers to those technical and/or compliance questions.
