What makes Minnesota a national leader? Are we really above average? What is our economic history and what does it tell us about where we are going – or can go?!
Join us on Friday, February 11th at Base Camp at Fort Snelling from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as we welcome Louis Johnston, economics professor from the College of St. Benedict and Saint John’s University, to the Minnesota Renewable Energy Roundtable. Johnston’s research has focused on Minnesota’s economic performance past, present, and feature. He will share with the MNRER how trends in Minnesota industries and regions impact our state’s economy. Collectively, we will explore what those economic characteristics mean for Minnesota’s renewable energy future.
Afternoon sessions will provide a venue for ongoing advancements on the issues of Talent Development, Policy and Public Awareness, Economics and Financing, Infrastructure, and Research.
