Despite being on the job for mere weeks, two of Minnesota’s new commissioners addressed issues facing the state’s renewable energy industry at a recent Renewable Energy Roundtable gathering.
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency commissioner Paul Aasen and Department of Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman both addressed the gathering and took questions from Roundtable participants on everything from energy conservation to renewable energy policy. Both commissioners recognized the importance of continued renewable energy development.
More than 120 people participated in the February 11th event at the Base Camp at Fort Snelling. The next Roundtable event is scheduled for June 17th in Willmar.
