Among the key issues facing further development of renewable energy in Minnesota is the availability of trained, qualified employees. A Biofuels Needs Assessment was conducted to determine needs and opportunities in talent development. A full report was developed in 2007.
Not long after this needs assessment was completed, unprecedented change occurred in the economy, creating a varied set of circumstances from when the initial report was published. A followup report was generated to evaluate what effect those changes would have on industry needs.
