Minnesota is one of the nation’s top ten states for beef production with over 13,000 farmers and ranchers engaged in raising beef cattle according to the most recent Census of Agriculture from the United States Department of Agriculture. Many producers throughout the state understand the need to embrace ecologically sustainable practices on their farms and ranches.

To mark “National Beef Month,” May’s AURI Connects: Fields of Innovation welcomes a panel of Minnesota beef producers and industry leaders working to increase the environmental sustainability and resiliency of beef production through the implementation of regenerative agricultural practices.

Join us on Friday, May 28th to hear about efforts in Minnesota to find new and innovative ways to connect regenerative practices to livestock production.

The conversation is ongoing at the Fields of Innovation Facebook Group.

AURI Connects: Fields of Innovation is a platform focused on bringing together Minnesota’s regional ag and food value chains to build capacity and successfully commercialize new and emerging crops. Events focus on highlighting promising new crops, examining market opportunities for emerging crops, and highlighting new technologies in existing crops.
