Researchers from the USDA– Agricultural Research Service and University of Minnesota, College of Food Agriculture and Natural Resource Sciences are hosting ameeting to discuss the opportunities and challenges of harvesting biomass in Minnesota. The presenters will give a general overview of biomass harvesting and the potential uses for biomass. Discussions will cover some of the economic and logistical challenges, but focus heavily on important soil conservation issues that should be understood when considering removing biomass. Questions and audience participation are encouraged!
