Marijo Fischer, a native of Minnetonka, Minnesota serves as AURI’s Administrative & Executive Assistant. She comes to AURI following a 30+ year career in elementary education and active involvement in the agricultural community.
Marijo joined the AURI staff in May of 2022. In her role she supports Waseca staff and coordinates AURI’s executive and board of director’s activities. She holds an M. A. in Education from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a B. A. in Education with a minor in Life Science from Concordia University St. Paul, Minnesota.
In her spare time Marijo works with her husband on their meat company and diversified crop farm. She enjoys spending time with her horse and dog, collecting antique tractors, traveling, flower gardening, and attending various county fairs in the area.
