AURI Seeks Lab Associate

AURI seeks a full-time lab associate for our bio industrial lab in Waseca, MN. The person in this role ensures the Waseca laboratory and its equipment are properly maintained and operational. The skills needed to perform the work is training, certification, a degree or the equivalent in one of these trade areas: machining, welding, pipefitting, carpentry, mechanics, electrical. The person selected will independently carry out assigned work to implement technical tasks and achieve goals.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma that includes trade training and two years’ experience in industrial equipment operations and maintenance. Preferred qualifications are either formal training in one or more of the following trades: machining, welding, pipefitting, carpentry, mechanics, electrical and two years of related experience or an associate degree in a field of science, agriculture, engineering, or industrial operation and two years of related experience. AURI offers a competitive salary. The position includes holiday, vacation, and health leave along with enrollment in the State of Minnesota Retirement plan and the option to contribute to a deferred compensation plan. This position is eligible for health insurance benefits.
