Position Overview:
The Agricultural Utilization Research Institute is seeking a full-time proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our senior leadership and communications department. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling confidential information with discretion, supporting the Waseca or Marshall MN office, and ensuring smooth communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.  Complete qualifications and position details are available HERE.

Responsibilities:

  • Support senior leaders with scheduling meetings, appointments, expenses, events, travel, etc.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for board meetings and conferences.
  • Attend board meetings and record minutes.
  • Serve as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide operational support to either the Waseca MN or Marshall MN office.
  • Coordinate tradeshows and exhibit registrations and supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, office management, human resources, psychology or an equivalent.
  • Proven 3 years of experience as an executive assistant or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite.
  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Accounting or bookkeeping skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid Driver’s license and personal transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience writing business communications.
  • Experience in setting up meeting logistics.
  • Previous experience recording board minutes.
  • Tradeshow exhibit experience

Job Demands

  • Extensive sitting and typing on a keyboard.
