AURI Seeks Anaerobic Digestion Operator

AURI is hiring a part-time position to assist with a new and emerging green fuel technology, anaerobic digestion, in its Waseca lab.  The person in this position will learn to assist, operate, and maintain an anaerobic digestor through pilot scale trials.  Duties include loading/unloading the digester with multiple feedstocks, taking daily gas measurements, collecting and logging product samples and performing routine and preventative maintenance.

The candidate for this position will have a basic understanding of piping/plumbing diagrams, have a willingness to learn how to operate gas sensing equipment, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to work independently. Knowing how to operate a forklift is a preferred.  The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to work in an odorous environment.

This is a part-time position, up to 15 hours per week.  The position does not include benefits.
